“Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” Psalm 94:12
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Worship is a time of lifting our praises to God, as well as a time of intensive Bible teaching, exhortation, and growth. If you’re thirsty and hungry for the Word and Spirit of the Lord, come and experience the compassionate heart of our Lord Jesus Christ. You will feel right at home at Knox Presbyterian Church.
Sunday Worship Services at 11am
Every Sunday morning begins with choir practice from 9:30 a.m. We have about 15 faithful choir members. Evening service is more as contemporary praise & worship service of praising and listen to the Word of God and prayers together.
As we welcome and passing the peace, everyone leaves their seat and gives hugs and shake hands to pass the peace and bless to each other. This ceremony gives such a joyful noise with love and hope for our congregation. Then, we begins with silent prayer for us to be still in the presence of the Lord. We sing hymns and choir sings, the children come out to sing and dance leading by Denise Kennedy which gives so much joy even to the adult members. After the prayer for the children by Rev. Gladys Anderson, she leads children to Sunday school. We read the Scripture together from the screen wall of Powerpoint, and listen to the message. We sing hymns and benediction will follow. After service, we usually have celebration lunch together (sometimes with Canadian food Filipinos and Korean). If you are looking for a family like church with love and passion, please try to come and see!
We do have Communion every other Sundays of the month.
